Janice D. Horvath passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Piedmont Hospital Macon. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Janice was born on June 4, 1943, in Linden, New Jersey, to the late, Rudolph Idec and Sophie Idec Sauer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Horvath
Janice was a retired Material Manger for DMG. She was a faith-filled mother that was spirited and devoted to her family. Consideration of others was instilled as a legacy to her children and grandchildren to follow. She enjoyed her trips to Atlantic City with Robert. She found pleasure watching her plants grow and leaves a legacy to her children as the best mother a child could have. Janice loved her boys as a mother does but loved her girls as well.
Janice is survived by her daughters, Christine Shourt, Michele Andrews (Chris Collins), sons, Regis Horvath, Robert Horvath. Grandchildren, Christine Shourt, Robert and Courtnie Ali, Regis and Corrine Horvath, Damien, Ethan, Cayden, Devin, McKenzee Collins. Siblings, Raymond Idec, Regis Idec, Nancy Mooney, Linda Augustine, and Andrea Johnson.
