Sue passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, surrounded by family at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the age of 87. She was born September 6, 1938, in San Benito, Texas. She was the first of five children born to the late AB and Juanita Clark.
She is survived by her three daughters, Debra Frick (Don), Brenda Roberts (Harry), and Angela Sonnier; eight grandchildren, Andre Dabadie, Amy Demars (Chuck), Marcus Dabadie, Alan Roberts (Shelby), Brant Roberts, Taylor Sonnier, Hunter Sonnier, and Peyton Sonnier; ten great-grandchildren, Chloe Olson (Jesse), Nathan Ashford, David Crifasi, Silas Smith, Beau Demars, Gabriel Demars, Owen Demars, Rylee Roberts, Brady Roberts, and Allona Sonnier; and one great-great granddaughter, Halle Olson. She is also survived by one sister, Marilyn Hancock.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Joe Leopard; her sister, Linda Keller; and two brothers, Mark and Joe Clark.
Sue was a retired medical transcriptionist with The Baton Rouge Clinic. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, baking, and cake decorating. Her true passion was making wedding and specialty cakes.
She was greatly loved and will be missed by her family and friends.
The family would like to give their utmost gratitude to the staff at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice for the care and assistance provided to her through this difficult time.
Private services will be held for the family.
