Janice Elizabeth Malik, 65, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 27, 2026, at her sister's residence. She was born on December 9, 1960, in Trenton, NJ, daughter of the late, Jacob Whitehead Bigley and Geneva Osborne Bigley.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Linda Wojciechowski.

Survivors include her loving husband, Robert Andrew Malik of Myrtle Beach, SC; two daughters, Melissa Gulyas of Laurens, SC and Jacqueline Malik of Charleston, SC; two brothers, Charles Bigley (Karen) of Springhill, FL and James Bigley (Bernice) of Hamilton, NJ; five sisters, Barbara Sica (John) of Lakeland, FL, Irene Kerstner of Waldorf, MD, Nancy Tolle (Lorraine) of Yardville, NJ, Dottie Lauer (Bob) of Murrells Inlet, SC and Diane Conte of Surfside Beach, SC; three grandchildren, Lily, Ivy and Braxton; as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Janice was an active member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Garden City, SC. She worked as a teachers aid for children with special needs and went on to retire from Shop Rite after many years of dedicated service. She loved to host and enjoyed cooking for family and friends.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00am Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at St. Michael Catholic Church, 542 Cypress Ave, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 with Father Joseph officiating.

The family has requested that memorial donations be made in Janice's name to St. Michael Catholic Church.
