Janice Carol Fisher May, a beloved homemaker, was born on April 14, 1937, in Lake Wales, Florida. After graduating from Lake Wales High School, she committed herself to her family and home, a role she cherished throughout her life. Janice had a joyful spirit and was known for her good sense of humor that brought smiles to those around her.
Janice passed away on December 5, 2025, at the George C. Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale. She leaves behind a loving family, including her daughter Edith "Edie" Grace May and her significant other James Alan Anderen of Winter Haven, her sisters Judy Salisbury and husband Jerry of Rawson, Ohio, and Jeannie Wilson and husband Patrick of Lake Wales, her brothers Jack Fisher and wife Peggy of Norfolk, Virginia, and Joe Fisher and wife Zaida of New Port Ritchie. Janice was also extremely proud of her five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, who were a constant source of joy in her life.
Janice was not just a dedicated homemaker but also an avid bowler, playing in the Women's Classic Bowling League where she excelled at her craft. She took great pleasure in the sport and made many memories during her time on the lanes.
She is reunited with her husband, Robert D. May, and their son, Dale Richard, along with her parents, Dale and Jane Fisher, in eternal rest.
