Janice Catherine McMillan, 73, passed away on September 17, 2025, in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Born in Garden City, Michigan, Janice moved to Florida in 1985, where she built a loving home and life. She worked for Wal-Mart for 20 years and 15 years at Sears. A proud workaholic, she was known for her strong work ethic, her love of diamond art, and the countless hours she enjoyed sitting with coffee at her kitchen table. Above all, she was a devoted grandmother who treasured her family deeply.
Survivors include her sons, James (Sabrina) McMillan of Vero Beach, FL, and Randy (Heather) McMillan of Fort Pierce, FL; brothers, Bill (Marge) Brown of Tennessee and Joseph (Karen) Brown of North Carolina; sisters, Rayna (LeRoy) Howard of Tennessee and Sue Coffee of Tennessee; grandchildren, Ivan (Mari) McMillan, Dayanara (Danny) McMillan, Wesley (Faith) McMillan, and Maxwell McMillan; great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Ferguson, Geo McMillan, Levi McMillan, Olivia McMillan, Catherine McMillan, and Asher & A.J. Alejandro; nieces, Ashley Sanchez and Lindsey (Herbert) Palmer; and special friends, John & Joan Carbonara.
She was preceded in death by her son, Aaron McMillan; her brother, James Brown; and her grandchild, Sabrina McMillan.
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 1:00PM-2:30 PM at Haisley Reception Center. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM at White City Cemetery.
