Janice Kay Misner, of Plainwell passed away at her home with family by her side on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at the age of 80. She was born in Allegan, MI on Sept 16, 1944. She is leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and cherished memories.
Jan enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved taking trips to the casino and she was known to have a “lead” foot when driving. She enjoyed traveling and made several trips to Kentucky to visit family and friends. When she was younger, she loved to ride her motorcycle and would take her kids camping.
Jan was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Morse; her granddaughter Macy as well as her brother Wayne.
She is survived by her significate other, Ernest Horton; her children: Kathy Knobloch, Fredrick Misner, Karen (Sean) Goolsby and Julie (Phillip) Osgood; 5 grandchildren: Josh (Colby), Trey, Kayla, Megan (Beth), Devin (Morgan); great grandchildren: Lakelynn, Beckett and Lincoln. She is also survived by her brothers: Larry (Betty) and David (Beverly).
A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Avink, McCowen Secord Funeral Home, 120 S. Woodhams St., Plainwell (269) 685-5881.
