Janice Marsha (Crane) Nault, 75, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH, surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born on March 20, 1950, in Concord, NH, the daughter of Richard Crane and Aurora Crane (Sinotte).

Janice was the beloved wife of Jules Nault. They were married on March 2, 2007, in Holiday, FL, and shared years of love, laughter, and unwavering companionship. Janice’s greatest happiness in life came from the people she loved, and she cherished every moment spent with family and friends.

She graduated from Concord High School in 1968 and dedicated much of her career to helping others. She worked for the State of New Hampshire as a Workers’ Compensation Insurance Adjuster for many years, advocating for those in need with her characteristic warmth and diligence. Most recently, she found fulfillment working as an office assistant for a social services organization, continuing her lifelong commitment to supporting her community.

Janice was a woman of deep love and kindness, always putting others before herself. Family was at the heart of everything she did. Whether hosting family gatherings, sharing stories over coffee, or cheering on her grandchildren, her presence was a constant source of love and encouragement. She had a special way of making everyone feel valued and appreciated, and her sense of humor and gentle spirit will be dearly missed.

She was predeceased by her parents but leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion.

Janice is survived by her husband, Jules Nault; her loving sisters Jeanne Crane of San Antonio, TX, and Kathy Curtis and her partner Justine Jobin of Center Barnstead, NH; and her brothers Richard Crane of Concord, Gary Crane of Concord, Robert Crane of Loudon, Glen Crane of Concord, and James Crane and his wife Pat of Concord. She also leaves behind her children, Julie Ryerson of Hooksett and Daniel Meaney of Hooksett, whom she adored beyond measure; and her treasured grandchildren, Benjamin Ryerson and Shelby Ryerson of Hooksett. Janice also had many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Phaneuf Funeral Home, Hanover St, Manchester, NH. A funeral service celebrating her life will take place at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Harvest Baptist Church, 361 Hackett Hill Rd, Hooksett.

Family and friends are invited to attend and share in remembering Janice’s beautiful life.
