Janice L. Payne, 65, of Owensboro, passed away Monday, March 9, at Fern Terrace of Owensboro. She was born to the late Raymond and Joanne Payne.
Janice was known for her profound creativity. A gifted artist and writer, she devoted countless hours to her crafts, allowing her imagination to flourish through her poetry and paintings. She was a true self-taught musician, demonstrating an unwavering determination in her pursuit of knowledge, learning to play both the guitar and keyboard.
Janice’s interests extended beyond her artistic endeavors. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often spent watching television and listening to the radio. Her ability to appreciate the beauty of everyday moments contributed to her vibrant personality and made her a cherished friend and companion.
Those left to cherish her memory include her siblings, Sharon Pedley, David “Mickey” Payne and Darryl Payne.
