It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Janice Louise (Haggard) Reeves, a beloved mother, grandmother, and devoted friend. Born on December 28, 1946, in Vincennes she is the daughter of Vernard and Joan (Miller) Haggard. She married James Anthony Reeves on October 3, 1980, and he preceded her in death on January 2, 2011.
Janice lived a life filled with faith, love, and cherished moments. She loved the Lord and was a devoted member of her church, where she demonstrated her unwavering commitment to the Lord, inspiring many with her spirit and kindness.
Janice was known for her vibrant personality and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She found joy in playing cards and pool with her friends, where laughter and camaraderie reigned. You could often find her spending most of her free time with her sister-in-law, Nancy Eisenhut. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren and attending all of their activities and sporting events.
Survivors include her son Tyler Haggard and his wife Deitra of Bargersville, IN; brothers, Jerry Haggard and his wife Janie, Jeff Haggard and his wife Kim; her grandchildren, Brittney McCormick and her husband Will, Brie'elle Thomas, Blake Shoulders and his wife Hannah, Brandalyn Haggard, and her great grandchildren, Mac McCormick, Ella McCormick, Benjamin McCormick, Theodore McCormick and Mila Myers. Janice is preceded in death by her parents, Vernard and Joan Haggard, her husband James Anthony Reeves and brothers, John and Burly Haggard.
Friends may visit with Janice's family from noon until the hour of service time of 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN 47591.
