Janice G. Ritchie of Bradenton FL passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025. Born and raised in Passaic County NJ.
She was the beloved wife of Jack Ritchie for 56 years. She earned her master's degree and taught English. She was one of the first women bond traders to work on Wall Street for Salomon Brothers. At Bloomberg LLP she was Director of Global Sales Training. At age 55 she retired to Bradenton FL. She was admired for her work ethic and her public speaking skills.
Known for her feisty personality, Janice enjoyed participating in many fulfilling activities throughout her life. She was an avid tennis and golf player & enjoyed domestic and international travel. At the Waterlefe River and Golf Club she was chairwoman of a Book Club and an active member on many committees.
She was predeceased by her parents Fred and Dorothy Hague.
She is survived by her husband Jack Ritchie, brother-in-law Tim (Linda) Ritchie, sister-in-law Jeanne Ritchie and 10 nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Janice's Life will be held at a future date, and details will be shared once finalized.
