She was born in Ephrata, daughter of the late Clarence and Viola (Griffith) Habecker and was the wife of Walter W. Shupp who passed away in 1998.
She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Denver.
Janice is survived by 7 children, Daryl L. Shupp, Sr., husband of Mabel, Rick L. Shupp, husband of the late Velma Jean Shupp, Ronald E. Shupp, husband of Kathleen, Jeff L. Shupp, husband of Wendy, Dean L. Shupp, Lucinda S. Graybill, wife of Kim, Kevin R. Shupp, husband of Denise; 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 9 to 10 AM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 3 Denver Road, Denver. Funeral services will follow at 10 AM, with Pastor Keith Sweitzer officiating. Interment will take place in the Fairview Cemetery Annex.
Memorial contributions in Janice's memory may be made to Hospice and Community Care, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604 or Mission Fund at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 3 Denver Rd., Denver, PA 17517.
