Jan Stackhouse, 72, died September 16, 2024, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born January 3, 1952, she was a daughter of Carl P. Klug and Fern Grace Eggleston. Jan was reared and received her early education in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. She was a 1970 graduate of Cedarburg High School.
Jan attended Milwaukee County Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1974. She was a registered nurse for her entire career. Jan worked in many hospitals and nursing facilities during her career. She was especially fond of long-term care where she worked tirelessly to improve the quality of life for her residents. In her spare time, she liked to coach youth sports with her husband.
Jan was preceded in death by her parents Carl P. and Lois Beth Klug of Watertown, WI.; her sister Jennifer Lynn Klug; and her husband Hershell Stackhouse III of Redfield, AR. She is survived by her children Bobby (Heather) Stackhouse of Neosho, MO., Erin (John) Hilburn of Cassville, MO., Erika (Hunter) Penfield of Bryant, AR.; her brother Gary (Jane) Klug of FL; and seven grandchildren Gracen, Adilynn, Jordan, Brayden, Tucker, Hensley, and Emersyn.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on September 19, 2024, at Cherrywood Assembly of God (1414 AR-365, Redfield, AR, 72132) with a visitation prior at 1 PM. Burial at Redfield Cemetery to follow.
