Janice Stone Obituary
Janice Porter McCluskey Stone, age 91, of Pleasant Grove, Al passed away at her home on October 9, 2025 surrounded by her family. Janice was born in Birmingham on May 31, 1934 to the late Irwin Neil and Hazel Rockett McCluskey. She is also predeceased by her brother & sister-in-law, Neil & Barbara McCluskey; grandson, Mickey Shawn Johnson, and son-in-law, Lowell McBride.
Survivors include her three daughters; Jerri McBride, Dawn Johnson (Mickey) and Denise Johnson; grandchildren, Michael Vines (Stephanie), Carie Hopper (Jason), Thomas Alan Johnson (Amanda) and Kristi Johnson. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; nephews, Michael McCluskey (Joniqua), James McCluskey and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 16, 2025 in the chapel of Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM util service time. Bro. Keith Ellis will officiate services.
