Janice Lee Terlisner

Janice Lee Terlisner, 86, of Benton Township, died Monday, December 23, 2024, at her home.
A Mass celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 6, 2025, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Benton Township. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens in Hagar Township. Friends and relatives may begin calling from 2-4 pm on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at the Fairplain Chapel of Florin Funeral and Cremation Service. Please share messages or memories at www.florin.net.
Janice was born on March 27, 1938, in Mishawaka, Indiana to Elsworth and Florine Wilson. She married her husband, Robert Terlisner, in 1958, and together they celebrated 45 years of marriage. He preceded her in death in 2004. Janice continued her education once her children were older and worked as a data processing clerk for Heath Zenith, for F&M Bank and several other area businesses. She was a member of the St. John-Bernard Parish and was very active with the Benton Harbor Moose lodge. She enjoyed reading and puzzles.
Her family includes her son, Robert Terlisner, Jr. of Roseville, MI, her daughters; Joann (Robert) Kelnhofer of Lawrence, Judy Smith of Benton Harbor, and Carol (Richard) Ray of Berrien Springs. She has 4 grandchildren, Richard, Robert (Megan), Lashonda, and Roxanne (Kevin); she has 7 great grandchildren, Garrett, Madeleine, Asanti (Samantha), Demetri (Talyana), Tyrell, Jasmine, and Kevin; and she also has 4 great great grandchildren, Leanna, Asonti, Rosemarie, and Delilah. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Jonathan. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
