To the daughters and family of Jan, I was saddened to hear of your mom´s passing. My deepest condolences and prayers for you. She was a faithful and decades long friend to my late mom Vivian Taylor and our family. They have joined the ancestors, our grandmothers and others. Much Love to you. Brenda Taylor-Jackson.

I worked with Jan at the Lyric Opera for many years and always thoroughly enjoyed seeing her and enjoyed her sense of humor. She always welcomed me with a big smile. I admired her straight ahead attitude, truthfulness, and enjoyment of life. She was considered by all who knew her to be wise and wonderful.
This is a real loss. You have my deepest sympathy.
We weep for those who have been our delight.

Jan was a wonderful person to have behind the scenes at Kansas City Ballet. She took care of the dancers in with the utmost professionalism, we really enjoyed having her as part of the team. She will be missed, peace and comfort to her family and friends.

RIP Jan, I worked at the Lyric Opera and loved seeing her smiling face whenever I visited the costume shop. I occasionally brought my dog with me who immediately went straight to Jan- was it the treats? Maybe, but even my pup loved hanging with Jan. I have such warm memories of her and want her family to know how she touched so many of us. God bless.
