Janice Wolff

Delaware Janice Rita (Stalter) Wolff is now at peace having passed away at her condo on July 20, 2025 at the age of 88. In the end, post polio syndrome, which is an "orphan disease," was the cause of death.

She was born in New Lexington, Ohio on March 6, 1937 to Donald and Bertha Lacey Stalter. She was proceeded in death by the father of her children, Robert C. Wolff, her children Elizabeth A. Wheeler and Stephen J. Wolff, both of her parents, and her grandson Alexander Wolff.

Janice enjoyed swimming and taught arthritis water aerobics for 12 years. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, her plants and traveling. She was very grateful to see many parts of our world.

She leaves behind three children: Rebecca Wolff (Bill Echols), Mary C. Wolff and Deborah A. Walther (David) and daughter-in-law, Michelle Storz Wolff. In addition, her grand-children Stephanie Farrand, Danielle Beard, Joshua Aldridge, Carrah-Anne Aldridge, and Anja Wolff and her great grand children Nora, Adelaine, and Delaney will all miss her.

Mom is finally out of pain.

Snyder Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive at W. William Street, Delaware is hosting a memorial gathering on Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 2-3 p.m. with a celebration of life to follow at 3 p.m. with Celebrant Ed Schlote officiating.
