Janis Marie Moore

Janis Marie Moore, 89, of Pampa, TX passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025 in McLean.
Memorial services will be held May 24th at the Moore residence, 1129 Duncan St. Pampa, Tx
Cremation and arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of McLean.
Janis was born in Michigan on November 11, 1935 to Hank and Florence (Wheeler) Mann. She grew up in Valparaiso, IN and graduated from Valparaiso High School before attending Valparaiso University. Janis married Willard Moore in 1958. Janis was a secretary for much of her career. Her most recent position was with the prison in Pampa. She had been a resident of Pampa for over 30 years.
Janis was an avid reader and crossword fanatic who enjoyed always learning something new but her greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren. She followed them wherever they went whether that was on the football field, rodeo arena, or Cross County course. She also enjoyed gardening and was an animal lover. She could often be found listening to George Strait who was her absolute favorite.
Janis was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willard; brother, Randy Mann; grandson, Kelsey Garrison; and son-in-law, Frank Sparling.
Survivors include her son, James Bond and wife Brenda of Ft. Worth; 2 daughters, Kelly Garrison and husband Jed of Channing, TX, and Rhonda Sparling of McLean; sister, Judy Nebergall and husband Jim of Greenwood, IN; 11 grandchildren, Donald, Daniel, Angel, Charles, Frankie, Chris, Logan, Mark, Michelle, Michael, Matthew, and Haley; 30 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to an Animal Rescue of choice.
