Jannette D. "Heath" Lloyd

Jannette D. Lloyd, of Bunnell, FL and Somers, CT, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 23, 2026, at home in Florida, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in North Troy, Vermont on September 2, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Dorothy (Bocash) Heath and was raised in Vermont. Jannette later made her home in Enfield, Connecticut, where she lived for 53 years before moving to Somers. She and her beloved husband, Gordon L. Lloyd, Sr., who predeceased her in 2015, spent many happy winters together in Florida. In later years, she was blessed to find love again and shared 11 wonderful years with her partner, Raymond Kibbe.

Jannette worked for many years as a home health aide. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading, playing bingo, and knitting. Jannette was a faithful member of Somers Congregational Church.

She leaves three children, Susan Benson and her life partner, Edward Tomlinson; Gordon Lloyd, Jr. and his wife, Kathy; and Gloria Sevigne and her husband, Steven. She also leaves seven grandchildren; Matthew Benson and his partner Stacy Freeman, Andrew Benson, Steven Lloyd, David Lloyd, Kara Lombardi, Christopher Sevigne, and Diane Lancaster; her cherished great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Gram, Elliot, Madelyn, , Jaxson, Kelsi, Chloe, and 2 unborn twins; her siblings, Willard Heath and Gloria Bergeron and her husband, Francis; her devoted partner, Raymond Kibbe, and his children, Raymond Kibbe, Jr., Beverly Kibbe, and Christopher Kibbe; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Gordon, she was predeceased by her brothers, Duane Heath and Wilfred Heath, Jr.

Her family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, March 9, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Somers Funeral Home, 354 Main Street, Somers, with a funeral home service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Somers Center Cemetery, Somers.
