Jannie Tollenaar Obituary
Jannie was born on December 19, 1940 to Sietse and Hendrikje (Kleine) Bruin in Den Burg, Texel, Netherlands. She was united in marriage to Cornelis Tollenaar on April 11, 1964 in Den Burg, Texel, Netherlands. Together, they farmed for many years in California, and she was proud to be a farmer's wife.
Jannie had "golden hands" and blessed others with her gifts of knitting, crocheting, and cross-stitching. She was a talented cook and baker and had an incredible gift of organizing everything. Jannie was able to make every house feel like home.
Jannie is survived by her husband of 57 years, Cornelis Tollenaar; children, Sietse (Kristin) Tollenaar of Wheatland, CA, Jon (Tami) Tollenaar of Paris, TX, Janina (Dan) Siemers of Elkhart Lake, WI; grandchildren, Katharine (Josh) Johnson, Conner Tollenaar, Drew Tollenaar, Chase (Taylor) Tollenaar, Jordan Siemers, and Connor Siemers; great-grandchild, Teddy Johnson; sister, Ina Bruin of Wieringerwerf, the Netherlands.
According to Jannie's wishes, private family services will be held.
