Jaqueline DeLisa Esquivel, age 34, Our beloved Mother, Daughter, Sister, Granddaughter, Friend has reunited with our Grandpa in Heaven on Friday, April 11th, 2025, at her home in Sunset, UT. She was born on March 2, 1991, in Ogden, UT, to Teresa Torres (Mother) She is preceded in death by her grandpa Marcello Torres and survived by her two children Nevaeh and Seth who she loved and yearned for deeply, her four sisters Mercedes, Odessa, Danyell, Precious, mother Teresa and grandmother Julie Torres.
She was a 2009 graduate of Northridge High School. Jaqueline had a love and passion to help others and had plans to pursue a career as a nurse. Jaqueline was a caretaker for her mother Teresa, nieces and nephews. She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, late night drives, listening to music, being present in nature, watching the sunset, reading, writing and a good, yummy snack. Jaqueline was a light in our life who will be deeply missed. Jaqueline loved everyone with her whole heart and always made it known with her long comforting hugs and never saying goodbye without an “I love you”. She had such a silly personality, she was always laughing and making jokes with everyone, her smile was contagious and could brighten any room. Jaqueline always knew how to see the glass half full, though she faced challenging times in her life she always pushed forward to make every day better than the last. Her strength was truly inspiring to so many and will continue to touch our hearts. Our beautiful Jaqueline the world is better because you were in it. Rest peacefully we love you forever and always.
“The night can only last for so long, whatever you’re facing, if your heart is breaking, there’s a promise for the ones who just hold on, lift up your eyes and see the sun is rising.” One of Jaqueline’s favorite song lyrics she lived by.
