Jara Feagans Obituary
Jara Dee (Palmgren) Feagans was born March 8th, 1949. She had reached the age of 76 when she peacefully passed on December 23rd, 2025, after suffering dementia. She was born to Virgil and Ellen Palmgren, as their 5th child of 7, in the San Luis Valley where she spent her childhood and college years. Jara grew up on the family farm in Center, Colorado. She attended Adams State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education, and also where she met her husband Royce.
Jara was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Vernon Palmgren, Sandra McKenzie, Jana Palmgren and Gerald Palmgren. She leaves behind her husband of 53 years Royce Feagans, children Melinda (John) Bacon, Michael Feagans, grandchildren Brendan Feagans and Kyla Bacon. Also, her siblings Edward (Sandy) Palmgren and Randall (Linda) Palmgren.
