Jared E. Bess

Jared Eugene Bess, 34, of Irving, passed away on February 01, 2023, at 07:56am at Hillsboro Area Hospital in Hillsboro, IL. Jared was born on November 30, 1988, in Springfield Il the son of Rodney Eugene and Pamela Sue Scott Bess. Jared worked in construction as a laborer. He was a member of of the Raymond Baptist Church in Raymond. Favorite past-times include fishing, being a fan of Cardinal baseball and spending time with his family.
Jared is survived by his significant companion, Kassie Petra, his mother, Pamela Scott of Witt, father, Rodney (companion Diane Lowder) Bess of Litchfield, sister, Shania Bess of Witt half-sister; Brandi Kuntzman of Mt. Auburn. He was preceded in death by a sister, Shayla Lee Bess. Visitation will be held from 9:30am until the time of service. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 6, at 11:00am at Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro, with Pastor Ron Butler officiating.
