We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jared Joseph Bruchi on the 13th of February, 2026.
Jared was born in New Orleans on March 27, 1980, to Richard and Jacquelyn Bruchi. He lived a life that embraced the spirit of Laissez les bons temps roule. Jared was defined by fierce love, boundless energy, and an unquenchable thirst for adventure. Jared was especially proud of his children, Angelle and Gaven. Nothing brought him greater joy than being "Dad." His love for them was profound—a legacy they will carry forever. Jared loved his entire family and cherished the time he spent with all of them. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. Jared spent many hours laughing and keeping his Mom, Dad, brother and sister entertained. The entire family is heartbroken at his passing. He was dearly loved and will be sorely missed.
Jared approached life with the same fearless spirit he brought to his adventures. Whether tearing through trails on his four-wheeler, feeling the rush of wind on a bungee jump, or chasing the next adrenaline-fueled experience, he embraced every moment fully. He found freedom and pure happiness in motion—proof that he lived vividly.
Jared was dedicated to Jesus Christ and loved sharing his faith with others. His work in addiction ministry brought him great joy and fulfillment. Jared was a true friend to all he met. He had a heart for people and was always willing to lend a helping hand. We take comfort in knowing he leaves us to join God, his heavenly Father and Richard, his earthly father, in heaven.
Jared is survived by his loving mother, Jacquelyn Anderson Bruchi; brother Kristian T. Bruchi (Jenniferlyn); sister Blake Bruchi Bruno; daughter Angelle Bruchi; son Gaven Arceneaux; nephews Brendon Bruno, Reece Bruchi, Brycen Bruchi; nieces Brianna Bruno (Cesar Mejia), Sophia Bruno and Bailey Ledet; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
Services will be held Friday, February 27, 2026, at Woodland Presbyterian Church, 5824 Woodland Highway, New Orleans, Louisiana (Westbank). Visitation begins at 9:30 a.m. with services at 11:00 a.m. A reception for family and friends will follow. In lieu of flowers donations to Hebron Colony, 356 Old Turnpike Road, Boone, North Carolina would be welcomed.
