Mr. Jared Champion, 46 of Winchester passed from this life on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Southern TN Regional Medical Center in Winchester. He was born on August 9, 1979 in Winchester to Glynda Champion Kinslow and Jerry Francis. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Annie Francis and Larmon Francis, Jr.; great-grandparents, Myra Champion-Noon and Mose Champion, stepfather, Leroy Kinslow, Sr.

He was a 1998 graduate of Franklin County High School and grew up attending Mt. View AME Church in Winchester. From a young age, he enjoyed playing all sports and later continued that passion through participation in men's softball leagues. He also loved fishing, playing cornhole, and was a die-hard Tennessee Titans fan.

He was employed at TE Connectivity in Tullahoma for 21 years. A devoted and well-rounded family man, he deeply loved his children and cherished time spent with family and friends. Known for his joyful spirit, he was often the life of the party. He especially enjoyed time at the lake with the "Lake Boys."

He is survived by his loving and caring wife of six years, Catalina Champion and together they shared twenty years of love and companionship; children, Addyson and Horatio Champion; loving mother, Glynda Kinslow; father, Jerry (Hattie) Francis; grandmother, Pauline Champion; brothers, Bryan Champion, Jerome (Tonitrice) Francis, Cameron Francis, Trystan Francis, and Chazz Hord; sisters, Tiffany (Terence) Hillsman and Tamara (Joe) Waters; step-sister, Tammy Caldwell; step-brothers, Joseph DeBerry, Lee (Kimberly) Kinslow, Eric Kinslow, and Jeremy (Shana) Kinslow; mother-in-law, Benita Gonzalez; sisters-in-law, Margarita Monge, Guillermina Monge, Leticia Monge, and Guadaulpe Monge; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Visitation, Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Elk River Tabernacle with Funeral Services following at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Larry Williams, officiating and Pastor Dwight Rowe, eulogist. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens.
