He was preceded in death by his siblings Wendy Young, Marie Jackson, Lionel Young, and Sidatsingh Dansby, and his sister-in-law Debra Young. Jared leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 27 years, Terri Vaughn Dansby; children: Latoya Antionette Dansby (Memphis, Tennessee), Christopher Joseph Dansby (Memphis, Tennessee), Megan (Americo) Sheppard, Terence "TJ" (Baylie) Pierre, and Javen Toney Sr. He was a proud grandfather to Aria Sheppard, Berkeley Pierre, Javen Toney Jr., Tyeler Pierre, and Averiegh Sheppard.
