Nakia Monique Jones

Nakia Monique Brisco Jones peacefully departed this earthly life on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the age of fifty. She was the beloved daughter of Patricia Brisco Rollins and the late Harvey Rollins. She was a devoted wife to Brandon E. Jones and a loving mother to Arius E. Jones. Nakia was the cherished daughter-in-law of Ronald Jones and Dennis LaGarde (Emile). She leaves to cherish her memory three brothers: Theodore Brisco Senior (Nicole), Corey Brisco (Teri), and Harvey Brisco (Brandy); one brother-in-law, Bryson Jones; Aunt Sandra Byrd; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. She was known for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering support as a loving sister, aunt, cousin, confidant, and friend. Pastor, officers, and members of Fischer Community Church, DesignDria Beauty Bar, Brighter Days Family Services, and The Krewe of Nandi are invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at ten o'clock in the morning at Fischer Community Church, 1737 L. B. Landry Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana 70114. Services will be officiated by Bishop James N. Brown. Visitation will begin at nine o'clock in the morning until the time of service.
