Jared Fredrick Loeb

Loeb – Jared Fredrick Loeb, age 26, of Wesley Chapel, Florida passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026, after an extraordinary and courageous 11-year battle with Mesenchymal Chondrosarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. He was born on January 1, 2000, in Jacksonville, Florida to Bruce Loeb, Jr. and Nicole Bohannon Loeb. Jared lived a life marked by resilience, creativity, and a profound capacity to inspire those around him. From the age of 15, Jared faced his diagnosis with unwavering strength. Despite the physical limitations imposed by his illness and lymphedema which curtailed his ability to pursue beloved activities like surfing and basketball he never allowed these challenges to define him. Instead, he channeled his energy into exploring new passions that transcended the boundaries of his condition. Jared cultivated a deep love for science, art, philosophy, writing, music, and fashion. These interests became not only outlets for expression but also avenues through which he connected with others and shared his unique perspective on life. Jared's intellectual curiosity was matched by a generous spirit; he offered insight and compassion freely to those who knew him. Throughout his journey, Jared became a source of strength not only for his family and friends but also for many others who were touched by his story. His courage in the face of adversity served as a beacon of hope and inspiration. Jared lived with intention and grace, sharing knowledge, care, and love even during the most difficult times. His legacy is one of perseverance and passion. He showed that even in the midst of pain and uncertainty, it is possible to live fully and to create beauty from struggle and meaning from hardship. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him and continue to inspire those facing their own battles with courage and heart.

Jared leaves behind his father, Bruce Loeb, Jr. (Tiffany Spurling-Loeb); mother, Nicole Loeb; siblings, Ashlyn Loeb-Yoho (Nate), Mackenzie Spurling, Logan Spurling; grandparents, Bruce and Carole Loeb, Mike and Shelly Heinley; several extended family members and numerous friends.

A Celebration of Jared's Life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Nassau Funeral Home with Pastor John Kasper officiating. Interment will follow at Jones Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
