Our most beloved Jarita Konwinski passed away at home on 6-29-24 surrounded by her close family and friends. Jarita will be loved and remembered forever by her husband Daniel Groen and their cherished daughter Pearl Groen. Her mother Diane Konwinski, brother Jeremy Konwinski, parents-in-law John and Leanne Groen and family will forever miss her glowing presence.
Jarita was a loving mother who poured her passion into her beloved daughter Pearl who survived her mother alongside aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Among her most loved was the group known as Route 66 – the friends that she cherished the most. Jarita deeply loved her family and friends and cared for everyone with pure kindness. She is known for her incredible memory, passion, love for classic movies, vintage wardrobe and glasses, pearls, bunnies and rabbits, and beautiful red hair.
And Jarita LOVED, wholeheartedly, with everything she had. She loved her daughter and husband. Her family. Her friends. And she made sure they knew it. You could always count on Jarita to be there. At games and meets and plays and concerts. At weddings and showers and funerals. At parties and bonfires and trips and reunions. At late-night vigils when the worst was happening and then the endless stretch of grief afterward she was there because she loved, quietly and fiercely and completely.
Above all, Jarita loved her daughter, Pearl, more than anything. Pearl was the light of her life, and Jarita cherished every moment spent with her.
Her warmth, passion, and impact on the lives of others will always be remembered from her warm smile, her trademark red hair, the way she collected everything, the way she laughed, to the way she loved.
Jarita's family and friends will gather Friday, July 5, 2024, from 5:00PM-9:00PM, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. Her memorial Service will take place on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 11:00AM (10AM gathering) at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. A memorial fund has been established for Pearl's future.
