Jarius "Shane" Brewer, a beloved member of the community and a retired self-employed welder, passed away on January 3, 2026, in Commerce, Georgia. Born on February 12, 1956, in Gainesville, Georgia, Shane dedicated his life to hard work and craftsmanship, leaving a lasting legacy through the quality of his work and the strength of his character.
Shane was known for his passion for welding and an unwavering commitment to excellence in his trade. His self-employed career allowed him the freedom to express his creativity and skill, earning him the respect and admiration of many. Beyond his professional achievements, he was cherished by those who knew him for his warm heart and welcoming spirit.
He is survived by his loving family, including his half-sister Denise Hobart and his brothers Edward Brewer, Jr. and Tyler Brewer. He is also survived by his half-brother Keith Gee, who will carry forward his memory with fondness. Shane was predeceased by his parents, Edward Eugene Brewer, Sr. and Dora Keith Brewer, whose love and guidance shaped the man he became.
Shane's departure has left a void in the hearts of many, but his legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. His life serves as a reminder of the importance of hard work, dedication, and the love of family. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
A cremation will be taking place per the deceased wishes.
