Jaromir “Mirek” Edl

Jaromir "Mirek" Edl, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on August 26, 2025, at the age of 54. Born on August 17, 1971, in Prague, Czech Republic, Jaromir was a man whose loving nature and zest for life left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Jaromir was predeceased by his parents, Jaromir Edl and Jaroslava Marešová. He leaves behind, to cherish his memory, his wife with whom he shared 26 years of treasured memories, D'Ann Kerby-Edl, and three children, Jaromir Edl (Krystal Corcoran), Tomáš Edl, and Dita Edl (Kyle Pavelski). His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Kale Corcoran and Gabriel Edl, who brought immense joy to his life. Jaromir's loving spirit will also be fondly remembered by his siblings, Robert Jezil (Evelyn) and Zuzana Tikalová (Petr Tikal), as well as a host of extended family members and friends.

Jaromir's professional life was marked by his dedication to his role as a notary, where he served his community with integrity and a friendly demeanor. His work was not just a job but a way to connect with people from all walks of life, offering them guidance and support in their times of need.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Jaromir was a member of the Galloping Goose Motorcycle Club. His passion for motorcycles and the open road was more than a hobby; it was a way for him to explore the world, make lasting friendships, and experience the freedom he so cherished.
