Jasie Erin Mueller, 39, of Nisswa, Minnesota, met her Heavenly Father on December 3, 2024, after a brief illness. A celebration of Jasie’s life will take place at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Heritage Church in Baxter, Minnesota. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to the service to share memories and honor her life.
Jasie was born on November 19, 1985, in Park Rapids, Minnesota, to Shelly Miller and Larry Popma. She grew up in Park Rapids and graduated from Park Rapids High School. She went on to attend the University of Minnesota Duluth, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and met the love of her life, Justin Mueller. The two were married on June 3, 2011, in the beautiful Colorado Mountains and built a life together centered on faith, family, and love.
Jasie was a devoted wife, mother, and daughter who poured her heart into her family. She had a strong Christian faith and was an active member of Heritage Church in Baxter, Minnesota. She also was the Third Grade Teacher at Lake Region Christian School. Jasie was known for her vibrant spirit, warm smile, and her ability to light up any room she entered.
She was passionate about sports, whether watching or playing, loved traveling to explore new places, cherished time on the lake, and treasured moments spent with family and friends. Most of all, she enjoyed any activity as long as her boys were by her side, finding joy in every moment they shared together. Jasie embraced life fully, always living in the moment and making memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Jasie is survived by her loving husband, Justin Mueller; her two boys, Brayden Micah (10) and Xavier James (7); her mother, Shelly (Lee); her father, Larry, and father figure, Dan; her siblings, Michelle (Dennis), Paula (Cory), Culley (Kristin), and Tracie; her parents-in-law, Gene and Julie Mueller; and her brothers-in-law, Cory (Kate, Adler, and Grant) and Jared (Shauna and Vivian). She is preceded in death by her grandpa, "Lefty" Sjoberg, and nephew Baby Hayes. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Jasie will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose faith, kindness, and joy left a lasting impact on everyone she met.
