Jasmine Maurice Lowery

Jasmine Maurice Lowery was born on August 28, 1980 in Knoxville, Tennessee. He graduated from Greenville High School and was an All-Star athlete in football and basketball. He also worked at Pizza Palace for many years. He loved listening to music and spending time with family and friends. He was the life of the party.
Jasmine departed this life on April 4, 2025 at UT Medical Center in Knoxville. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Thomas and Beatrice Prater; sister-in-law, Shantria Peeples; and uncle, Gregory Prater. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Sherese "Moochie" Lowery; children: Destinee Blue, Jazmine Blue, Zachary Lowery, and Kiyonna "Rosie" Brady; three grandchildren: Bentlee, Ayvah, and Nova; father, Clifton (Vickie) Thompson; mother, Sharon Lowery; brothers: Keith Prater, Jamal Lowery, Nathaniel Lowery, and Devin Thompson; sister, Shadia Prater (John Hellrung); aunt, Beaetta Prater; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, especially best friend/like a brother, Demarcus King.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 19, 2025 from 12-1:00 p.m. with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Unity Mortuary Chapel.
