Jason Christopher Ashley, 50, of New Carlisle, Indiana passed away on Friday November 4, 2022. He was born on February 18, 1972 in South Bend, Indiana. He is survived by his wife Sarah, three step children, Thaddeus, Theodore and Thatcher Blevins, his mother Kathleen (Kenny) Gross of Denver, Colorado, his two brothers, Joshua (Beth) Evans of South Bend, Indiana, William Thomas Conard of Denver, Colorado, two sisters, Hannah (Adam) Sickler of Florida and Amanda Lace of Michigan.
Jason was an avid outdoorsman who thoroughly enjoyed hunting and fishing. His vast knowledge of the outdoors was passed on to many throughout his lifetime. He loved to teach and educate those willing to learn the beauty of the woods.
He firmly believed in not wasting the bounty that nature offered, and was known for making the most delicious meals out of the wild game he caught. His cooking skills were unmatched! He enjoyed providing for and feeding those he loved.
Jason was also a business owner with his brother owning J&J Pools. He built and serviced in-ground pools for over 25yrs. He referred to himself as the "pool god" often getting many laughs because of it.
He had a large laugh that made you chuckle, a quick wit, and a twisted sense of humor that he prided himself for always being able to go "one joke too far". He was a big, beautiful man that was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
At this time no services are being held. Cremation has taken place. To leave online condolences for the family please visit www.kaniewski.com
