Hartsville, S.C.
It is with great sadness that we inform you about the death of Jason Brown. While we are filled with grief, we know that he would want us to celebrate his life instead of mourning his death.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Charles McLendon will officiate. Burial will be in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Jason, born in Darlington SC on March 23, 1981 to Jean Beasley Brown and the late Jack Archie Brown, Jr. He was one of three children. Jason attended Hartsville High School and completed multiple certifications after graduation.
He worked for several companies in mechanic and maintenance roles including Boeing and Nestle, often traveling for work to support other areas as needed.
Jason enjoyed spending time in nature, playing golf, solving problems and figuring out how to make things work better. He spent time on the weekends cheering on his favorite team, Clemson Tigers. Jason had a wonderful sense of humor and could light up a room with his charm. He loved spending time with family and friends, quick to share his sharp wit, telling jokes to make people laugh.
Jason is preceded in death by his father, Jack Brown. He is survived by his mother, Jean Griggs (Murray) and sisters, Hope Paradee (Mike) and Crystal Hoffman (James) along with nephew Dalton Gardner (Caroline) and niece Savanna Paradee.
Norton Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to serve the Brown family.
