It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Donna Kaye Davis, a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was a woman of faith, love, and compassion who touched many lives through her kindness and caregiving spirit.
She is survived by her children , Katherine Dority (Art Farmer); Preston (Jessica) Dority. Grandchildren, Trinity Chapman, Teddy Chapman, Chad English Clanton, Bailey Rose Dority, Brody Dority, Aubrey Dority (Harley Gainey), Claudia Dority (Tyvion Allen) and their expected child, Emily Dority, Ronnie Weaver Jr., Bentlee Weaver, and Ethan Weaver.
She is also survived by her boyfriend, Rodney Killough, and stepdaughter Lizzy Buie (Jessie Buie).
She is survived by her siblings and their families: brothers Tim Davis (Ashley Davis), John Davis Jr, Sister Susan Michelle Davis Nephews Tim Davis Jr., Christian, Gabriel, Little Randy. Nieces Alysa, Lilly, Nikki, Amber, Tina and Logan, bonus daughter, and special friend, Katie Griggs.
She held a special place in her heart for her favorite aunt, Dianee Sanchez, whom she loved like a sister.
She was preceded in death by her parents John Mickey Davis Sr. and Rosa lee O'Neal Davis
She attended Hartsville High School and later pursued her nursing education at a local college, becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). She worked at Morell Nursing Home and various other healthcare facilities throughout the years. She had a true passion for caring for others, which was evident in both her career and personal life. She enjoyed watching True Crime and Dog the Bounty Hunter, cherished trips to the beach and the mountains, and was thrilled to fulfill a lifelong dream by taking a cruise, which she proudly checked off her bucket list.
Most importantly, she loved God and had a personal relationship with the Lord, which guided her life and the way she loved others. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Services of Remembrance will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bethlehem Church Cemetery. A visitation of remembrance will be held one hour prior to the services.
She always told the ones she held dear to her heart I love you, I love you. I love you MORE!
