Jason Carter Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Epting Funeral Home - Bentonville on Mar. 5, 2026.
Jason Brandon Carter, 48, of Bentonville, Arkansas, passed away on March 3, 2026.
Born in Orange County, California, Jason was known for his kind heart, generous spirit, and unforgettable sense of humor. He had the goofiest personality, the best laugh, and a joke ready for any moment. One of Jason's greatest passions was music. With a natural musical ear, he could hear a song and quickly play it on the guitar. He loved hard rock, classic rock, and alternative music, and was rarely without music playing. Jason often bonded with others through music, sharing songs and lyrics with the people he loved.
Above all, Jason cherished being a father. He shared his deep love of music with his children and taught them to find meaning and connection through it. His love for his family and his bright spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Jason is survived by his mother, Charlene Carter; his sisters, Christine Lockamy and Anichia Hutchison; and his three children, Cali, Khalin, and Kaleb. He is also survived by two nieces, five nephews, one great-niece, and one great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his father, Terrance Carter.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Grace Hills Church, 805 SE 22nd St, Bentonville, Arkansas 72712 at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 6, 2026.
