Jason Crider, age 38, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away Thursday, February 15th at WellStar Health Systems.
Jason was born on January 13, 1986 in Dalton, Ga, the son of Michael Jerry Crider and Cynthia Oliver Dycus. Jason had a passion for being outdoors as he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golf. He was also an avid football fan for the Georgia Bulldogs. In his previous employment, Jason worked the line for Toyo Tires. He was also an attendee of Collard Valley Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Jerry Crider; and grandmother, Judy Crider Coggins.
Survivors include his parents, Michael Jerry Crider; his mother, Cynthia Oliver Dycus and her husband Wilborn; two children, Ansley Dycus and Jocelyn Crider; one brother, Anthony Stewart; one sister, Kristen Stewart; his grandparents, Anthony and Shirley Oliver; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 20th, at 3 PM in the Chapel at Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Benefield officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 19th, from 4 to 7 PM in the Chapel at Thomas Funeral Home.
