Jason Van Den Bogaert

Jason Van Den Bogaert, cherished husband, devoted father, faithful servant, inspirational coach, and beloved friend, passed away unexpectedly on March 8, 2024. His departure leaves an aching void in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him, yet his memory will forever be a beacon of light.
Created with a heart as generous as his smile, Jason was known for his carefree and selfless nature. His love for his family knew no bounds, and he found his greatest joy in being a devoted husband to Jami Van Den Bogaert and a loving father to Elliana and Gavin. Their happiness was his priority, and he poured his heart and soul into creating a life filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories.
A dedicated family man, Jason prioritized his lifestyle over his career. By bucking traditional career expectations and with a lot of hard work, he not only lived a life of adventure but crafted a lifestyle that allowed him to focus on being the best husband and father.
Jason was an avid athlete and dedicated coach, he inspired others to push their limits and strive for greatness. His enthusiasm was contagious and motivating. Some beloved players he coached followed him year after year and from one sport to the next. Go Thundersharks!
Along with his family, Jason found joy in exploring the beauty of the world. Whether soaking up the sun in Maui, basking in the warmth of Florida, or reveling in the tranquility of Tahoe, he cherished every moment spent surrounded by nature's splendor. His adventurous spirit and love for life infused every journey with laughter and camaraderie.
One of Jason's greatest pleasures was witnessing the beauty of each day's end. He had an unparalleled appreciation for sunsets, and never missed an opportunity to marvel at the breathtaking display of colors painted in the sky by his creator.
Jason also loved music and attending concerts. He found inspiration and connection in the lyrics and rhythms that touched his soul.
A true man of God, Jason's faith was the cornerstone of his life. He found peace and strength in the love of Christ, allowing his faith to refine and shape him into the compassionate and selfless individual he was. His unwavering commitment to living out his faith through acts of kindness and service left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
As we honor Jason's memory, let us strive to embody the same spirit of love, faith, selflessness, and fun that he exemplified each day. Though he may no longer walk among us, his legacy will continue to inspire and uplift us all.
Jason leaves behind a loving family that includes his wife, Jami Van Den Bogaert, and children, Elliana and Gavin Van Den Bogaert. He is also survived by his parents, Stany and Clarissa Van Den Bogaert; siblings, Stacey, Eve and Elijah Van Den Bogaert; grandmother, Melva Evans.
A visitation will be held on March 22, 2024, from 6-8 PM with a memorial service to follow on March 23, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Fellowship Bible Church in Rogersville. The family will have a video camera set up for people to share what they remembered most about Jason, his character, funny stories, etc. We believe it will be a treasured memory for the kids to know and remember who their dad was as they get older.
