Jason was born December 24, 1981, in Rochester, MN to Jon Finstad and Cynthia Witte. He graduated from Dover-Eyota High School in 2000 and went on to pursue studies at RCTC in Rochester where he met and eventually married Sudati Masasu. They later divorced but remained friends through the years.
Jason's unique sense of humor, and ability to make others laugh will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
He is survived by his stepmother, Peggy Finstad of Rochester, MN, four siblings, Samuel Foster of Austin, TX, Christie (Justin) Tlougan of Utica, MN, Pat (Melissa) Sutton of Zumbrota, MN, Jesse Sutton of Rochester, MN, his cousin Angie (Kevin) Smoot of Rochester, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
A celebration of life will be held 3-7 p.m. Thursday, July 18, at Brother's Bar and Grill in Rochester, MN. A private interment will take place at a later date.
