Jason L. Frey

Jason L. Frey, 46, of Chillicothe, passed at 12:12 a.m. Sunday, January 5, 2025 in Holzer Medical Center, Jackson as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born September 4, 1978, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to Jimmy L. and Margaret Bolles Frey.
Surviving are daughters, Brookelynn Ratcliff and Payton Frey; mother, Margaret "Peg" Frey, all of Chillicothe; aunts, Elizabeth Dodge, of Florida, Shirley Bush, Linda (Bret) Richter, all of Chillicothe, Debbie Hawks, of Circleville, Carol Frey, Beverly Frey and Patricia Frey, all of Chillicothe; uncles, David Bolles, of Eaton, OH and Freddy Bolles, of Williamsburg, OH; numerous cousins; and many friends. He was predeceased by his father, Jimmy L. Frey.
Jason was the life of the party and was good at and loved to tell stories. He made friends easy. Jason was a kind and caring person as well as being good spirited. He had a warm heart. Jason was dearly loved by his family and all of his friends and will be terribly missed by all of them.
Jason was an avid Chicago Bears "superfan". He worked as a Correction Officer at RCI for 20 years. Jason coached Junior High football at Paint Valley Junior High School and also was an assistant coach for Paint Valley High School football team from 2018 to 2022. He was also an avid bowler and bowled in many leagues and tournaments over the years. Jason also enjoyed singing karaoke and playing poker.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Calvary Apostolic Church, 454 Keller Road, Chillicothe, Ohio. Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the Church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the funeral service on Tuesday. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
