Jason Neil Godfrey

Jason Neil Godfrey, age 47 of Mooresboro, NC, passed away Wednesday, February 28th, 2024. He was born May 6th, 1976 in Cleveland County, NC to James Roger Godfrey and Judy Toney Godfrey. He was husband of 24 years to Rebecca (Dana) Morehead Godfrey. For the last 25 years he was an electrician for his own business Godfrey Electric LLC mentoring his brother Ryan, and son Hayden. As well as a supervisor for Harris Septic Tank LLC. He also served as the Chase High School FFA Alumni President. Jason will be remembered as a hard worker, devoted to family, and friend to the community.
Jason is survived by his parents; James Roger Godfrey and Judy Toney Godfrey, his wife; Rebecca (Dana) Morehead Godfrey, their sons; Daniel James Godfrey and Charles Hayden Godfrey, brother; Ryan Lee Godfrey (Shauna), his niece; Emma Godfrey, his in-laws; Dane and Billie Morehead, with their family, and his close friends; Tony Robbins and Phil Harris.
The family will receive friends Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC. The funeral service will be 2 o'clock Sunday, March 3rd, 2024 at Race Path Baptist Church with Reverend Randall Cooper, Reverend Chris Glawson officiating as well as family friend Tony Robbins. Burial will be in the church cemetery following the service. Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC is serving the family
