Gail Spencer Adams of Boiling Springs, SC went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at the age of 66. She was born in Gaffney, SC on September 17, 1958, the daughter of the late Edna Gail Clary and Jack Kenneth Spencer.

She was a graduate of Gaffney High School and earned her Dental Assistant Certification from Spartanburg Technical College. Gail spent more than 40 years with Piedmont Orthodontics, where she became a steady and familiar face to many patients until her retirement. A long-time member of First North, Gail found joy and purpose in her Sunday School class and church community. Her faith was an important part of her life, shaping the way she loved and served others.

Outside of work and church, Gail had a deep love for nature and creativity. She was a master gardener who won ribbons for her beautiful irises, an avid quilter and cook, and someone who never missed a chance to get outside and explore. She loved hiking, especially to waterfalls. She visited most waterfalls in South Carolina, and many in other states.

Gail is survived by her brothers, Lynn Spencer, Timmy Spencer (Donna), and Chris Spencer (Nancy); nieces and nephews, Jessica Gilbert (David), Daniel Spencer (Anna), Cole Spencer (Lindsey), Jade Spencer, Charlie Spencer, and Ryann Spencer; seven great- nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Marcus Will. She was preceded in death by her son, Dustin Taylor Adams.

Visitation will be 12:00-12:45 PM on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at First North, 8740 Asheville Highway, Spartanburg, SC 29316. Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 PM, conducted by Rev. Dr. Terry Duvall. Burial will immediately follow in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens, 4081 Highway 9, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
