Timothy Edgar Bailey, 57 of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on November 18, 2025. Born January 14, 1968, Tim was the beloved son of the late Jack Cecil Bailey and Cristine Redden. He was also preceded in death by his cherished daughter, Taylor Lynne Bailey.
Tim is survived by his devoted loving wife, Donna Susanne Bailey, who was the love of his life. He leaves behind his children, Timothy Joshua Bailey, Dillon Jacob Bailey, and Savannah Caitlin Laney, as well as Bobby Moser and Donovan Moser who he lovingly embraced as his own. He was a proud grandfather to Hunter Lee Silvey, Adeline Rose Moser, Jasper Waylon Wilson, Mara Lynne Bailey, Arthur Tucker Bailey, Oliver Zachary Laney, and Liam Zachary Laney. He is also survived by his loving sister, Tammie Bailey Foster.
Known as an exceptional father and "Papa", Tim's greatest joy was his family. He was a man of hard work, deep devotion, and endless love. He took immense pride in his craft as one of Spartanburg's finest pool builders, where he worked side by side with his sons. Beyond his work, Tim enjoyed spending time with his family and in the shop.
Tim will be remembered for his dedication, his laughter, and the countless ways he enriched the lives of those around him. His legacy of love and hard work will live on through his family and all who knew him.
The family will be receiving friends 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 24th, 2025, at Dunbar Funeral Home, 690 Southport Road, Roebuck, SC 29376. A Private burial will be held Wednesday, November 26th, 2025.
The family is requesting in lieu of flowers, donations be made to American Heart Association, PO Box 347214, Pittsburgh, PA 15251-4214 or St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
