Jason Miller Greenway

Jason "Beanie" Miller Greenway, was born on February 12, 1977, in Roanoke, VA, and ascended on July 7, 2024, in Salem, VA.
Jason honorably served in the United States Army from October 1995 to February 1999.
Jason was passionate about muskie fishing, turkey hunting, and painting. He cherished his family and friends deeply, had a strong faith, and was known for his sense of humor and contagious laughter, which will always be remembered.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Patton and Clara Compton of New Castle, VA; his paternal grandparents, Preston and Alberta Greenway of New Castle, VA; his father, Marvin Greenway of New Castle, VA; uncles, Tommy Greenway of New Castle, VA and Marshall Greenway (Pete) of Brookneal, VA; aunt, Linda Hutchinson of New Castle, VA; numerous cousins, including a very special cousin, Stevie Saunders.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Patsy Greenway of Vero Beach, FL; his brother, Andrew Greenway (Dana) of New Castle, VA; his niece, Andrea Greenway of Salem, VA; his son, Jaden Greenway of New Castle, VA; and Jason's fiancée, Kathy Greenway of New Castle, VA. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and a very special friend, Gerald Bublitz (Jessica) of Boise, ID.
A Celebration of Jason's Life will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Cornerstone Church of God of Prophecy in New Castle, VA, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Don Brown. A meal with the family will follow the service.
