Jason Christopher Hart April 3, 1970 -August 8, 2025
Jason Christopher Hart was born on April 3, 1970, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He grew up in New Mexico, attending Onate Elementary, Hoover Middle, and Eldorado High before graduating from Hope High School in 1988. He later studied at Central New Mexico Community College.
Over the years, Jason held a variety of jobs-from Rowlands Nursery and Paisano's Italian Restaurant to Quarters Liquors, Louie's Pub & Grill, Xertrix Technology, Nexus Brewery, and Casa Viejo. More than any workplace, it was Jason's humor, creativity, and unique perspective that stood out to those who knew him.
Jason loved to read, especially the Dune series, which captured his imagination. He filled spiral notebooks with his writing and always had music nearby. Cheering for the Patriots was another constant, and he never missed a chance to root for his team.
Jason's life changed dramatically when he lost his lower right leg to diabetes. The surgeries and adjustments were difficult, yet he carried on with resilience. Through it all, Jason was known for his quick sense of humor-he had a way of lightening the moment even in hard times.
He was the cherished son of Penny (Jim) George and Dick (Cherry) Hart. He is survived by stepsiblings: Paul (Sara) Norris, Catherine (Randy) Travis, Laura (David) Harwin, and Jim (Emily) George, along with extended family and many friends who will miss his laughter and companionship.
A celebration of Jason's life will be held at a later date.
