Jason Lawhead Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 4, 2015.
Jason Ronald Lawhead, 36, was granted his angel wings on August 30th, 2015 following a courageous battle with cancer, however passed away from complications of a prior surgery. His final hours were surrounded by his loving immediate family. Jason was born in Elmira, NY on February 3rd, 1979 to Tim and Helen Lawhead. He spent his younger years residing in New York, moving to Washington when he was only six years old. He graduated high school in 1997 from North Mason High School. Jason was a genius when it came to computers and immediately following high school started working at the family business Mother's Board Computers. Jason met the girl of his dreams in April 2008. A few short months later in September 2008 they became boyfriend and girlfriend. Jason and Jenn knew from that first date that they were each other's "forever". They married on July 17th, 2010 which was admittedly the best day of their lives. What greater thing is there for two human souls than to feel that they are joined for life; to strengthen each other in all labor, to rest on each other in all sorrow, to minister to each other in all pain and to be with each other in the silent, unspeakable memories in the moment of their last parting. Every love story is beautiful but Jason and Jenn's was breathtaking. Jason's life seemed too short to all that loved him, but for those who were touched by him, understood the quality of existence far exceeded quantity of time in which you live it. His gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around him and his bear hugs were priceless. Jason loved his family and friends first and foremost. He also loved computers which were his number one hobby. He enjoyed the water including swimming, snorkeling and scuba. He really enjoyed going golfing and shooting with his buddies. His love for photography was perfect because he had a good eye for design and composition. Jason is survived by his loving wife Jenn Lawhead and children by marriage Nickole, Maggin and Clayton Corey all of the family home in Silverdale Wa. His parents Tim and Helen Lawhead of Belfair. His brothers Mike (Laurie) Fisher of Everett, Wa. and Tom (Marlyna) Fisher of Belmont, Ca. His father-in-law and mother-in-law Gary and Judy Spychala of Silverdale, Wa. His brother-in-laws Dave (Tiffany) Spychala of Olympia, Wa. And Tom (Lori) Spychala of Belfair, Wa. His beautiful niece Ivy and handsome nephew Dax of Everett, Wa. He was also survived by his fur baby Marley, whom remained by Jason's side, showing him unconditional love and comfort through his illness. He was proceeded in death by his grandparents Tom and Helen Buczek, who absolutely loved Jason to pieces. We will be having a "Celebration of Life" for Jason on Saturday September 5th at 3:00pm at 4954 NW Knute Anderson Rd. Silverdale WA 98383. We will be sharing memories and celebrating his cherished life.
