Jason Glen Lentz, 46 of Seven Valleys, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Thursday, April 17th, 2025.
Jason attended Dallastown Area School District and later received his GED. He worked as a janitor for 20 years at a local orchard and farm market. He also spent a lot of his summers doing yard maintenance. Jason was a very kind and gracious individual always putting others first. He had a love for animals especially dogs and rabbits. Jason's greatest love however was art. "Being creative is not a hobby, it's a way of life."-Unknown. This was definitely Jason's mantra. He painted, drew and did airbrush design. He also loved putting models and puzzles together. He was a car enthusiast, a collector of matchbox cars, coins, sports memorabilia and books. He loved reading westerns and science fiction. He dabbled in photography and music with the drums being his instrument of choice. Jason was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church.
Jason was born in York the son to Judy (Heindel) DeVore and the late Ronald (Ronnie) Lentz. Jason is survived by sisters Sherry (Steve) Martin of York and Kim (Mike) Godfrey of Seven Valleys. He took great pleasure in being uncle to 1 nephew, 2 nieces, 5 great nieces and a great nephew due in June. He is also survived by aunts, an uncle and several cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to White Rose Hospice. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff that helped with Jason's care. We appreciate the comfort and support provided to Jason and the family during this difficult time.
The family will celebrate Jason at a private graveside service at their convenience.
