JoAnn A. Huber

JoAnn A. Huber, 86, entered into rest Tuesday September 2, 2025 at York North Skilled Nursing and Rehab. She was the wife of the late Lester Eugene Huber.

A viewing will be 12-1pm Monday at John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc. 902 Mt. Rose Ave. The funeral service will begin at 1pm at the funeral home with Rev. Tom Kiepert officiating. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Huber was born July 26, 1939 in York, a daughter of the late Lloyd W. and Nellye M. (Hilker) Sprenkle. She was a graduate of William Penn Senior High School and was employed as a presser at Doe Spun. She was a member of Faith United Church of Christ. She enjoyed playing Bingo several times a week, spending time with her family, and had numerous furry friends over the years.

JoAnn is survived by her children: Kelly J. Sprenkle and his wife Kimberly, Scott A. Sprenkle and his wife Joanne, Vicki L. Sprenkle and her wife Sandi, stepson David Huber and his wife Tina; Grandchildren Cameron, Alex and Deanna Sprenkle, Candace Huber, Cameron, Matthew, Evan and Nathan LeCates; Great-granddaughter Elliana Sprenkle. She is also survived by her brother, Sidney Sprenkle and his wife Cheryl, and her sister Sharon Gennerette-Leonard, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and loved ones.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband Lester (Gene) Huber and her eldest son Todd Sprenkle, grandson David Huber Jr., her brothers Lloyd, Dean, Denton Sprenkle, and her sisters Jackie Richter, Ina Hengst, Shirley Leonard, Peggy Heath, Caroline Hoskins and Becky Sprenkle.
