Jason William Longerbeam

Jason William Longerbeam, 44, of Harpers Ferry, WV, passed away on March 22, 2026, in Martinsburg, WV.

Born on June 3, 1981, in Ranson, WV, he was the son of Bruce William Longerbeam and Tammy Jane Longerbeam. He was of the Methodist faith.

Jason was an electrician for Fairfax County Schools. He loved to bowl, fish and camp. He was an avid Giants and Pirates fan.

He is survived by his parents, Bruce and Tammy Longerbeam, of Harpers Ferry, WV; two sisters, Samantha Hardy and husband, John, Cynthia Longerbeam; paternal grandmother, Maxine Longerbeam; girlfriend, Kathy James; four aunts, Cheryl Smoot, Sherry Parker, Tracy Longerbeam, Valerie Oden; two uncles, Vincent Oden, Gregory Longerbeam; special niece, Zayleigh Twyman; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jason was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, William “Billy” Longerbeam; maternal grandparents, Samuel Mortin Oden and Mazie Oden; one aunt, Katherine Oden; and three uncles, Roy Smoot, Samuel Oden, Jr. and Timothy Oden.

Services will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 2:00 P.M., at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV, with Pastor Bill Rowley officiating.

Interment will follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Harpers Ferry, WV.

The family will receive friends two hours prior to service at the funeral home.
