Jason Boyd Marquardt

Jason Boyd Marquardt was born on July 7, 1940 to Gus and Anna Marquardt in El Reno, OK. He went to be with the Lord on May 12, 2023. Jason was born and raised in El Reno and graduated from El Reno High School in 1958. After graduating, he attended Oklahoma State University until he enlisted in the Oklahoma Army National Guard, where he served for 9 years. On September 1, 1962, he married the love of his life, Treva Barker, and together they created a legacy that focused on the value of faith, integrity, and love of family.
Being raised on the family farm, Jason grew to love farming and was a very successful cattle rancher. He also worked for over 25 years as a rural mail carrier, and everyone on his route could attest to the fact that he loved to visit.
Jason loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed attending all of their activities and sporting events. He and Treva also enjoyed traveling to Red River, NM, and Eureka Springs, AR. His greatest contribution to his family was to instill a love for Christ and to remain faithful, even through difficult times.
Jason is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Bea and Ed Rubes. He is survived by his wife, Treva; his daughters Julie and Perry Owens, Jamie and Richard Gulickson, Tamie and Clay McManaman; grandchildren Blaine and Diana Owens, Blake Owens, Baleigh and Trey Henley, Dara and Travis Finnigan, Michael Costin, Brookelyn Costin, Makenzie and Blake Dewberry, Seth and Teegan Stevens, and Salem Stevens, Chase and Nicci McManaman, Cole and Tori McManaman, Ty and Sidney Gulickson, Chris and Amber Gulickson, and Heather Gulickson; great grandchildren Raydn, Jerzie, and Brax Finnigan, Steele Stevens, Ford Dewberry, and Brooks Henley; sister-in-law Martha Bollinger and her late husband Scott; nieces and nephews Mark and Lori Rubes, Debra and Lance Brown, Kari and Andy Breshears, Kory and Sara Bollinger, Karli and Charlie Ross, Kayli and Craig McKee, Kami and Scott Shackelford, Kolby Bollinger, Kynzi and Dillion Young, Kyler and Haley Bollinger, Kwyn and Brent Weaver, Kade Bollinger, and Kolton Bollinger; many other nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Come and Go Viewing and Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM with the family present from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 16. 2023 at Wilson Funeral Home. Services will be held at the Trinity Baptist Church at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.
